The aim of the VenSAT is to provide extra adVenturous activities for South Australian Venturers.
The Venturer Section Activity Team will consist of Leaders, Rovers and Venturers that have the necessary qualifications and desire to enable Venturers to do activities such as: caving; canoeing; bike riding; 4WDriving; bushwalking etc. These activities may be beyond the normal capacity of most units to run on their own.
The team will operate on two levels:
- Provide Activities and Events such as:
- Initiative Activities
- Venturing Skills Hike
- Venturer Cycle Challenge
- Caving
- Canoeing
- 4WDriving
- Bushwalking
- Bike Riding
These events may be beyond the capacity of Units to organise on their own. They would also provide opportunities for Venturers to meet others from around the state.
- Assist Units to run their own adVenturous activities. Units would approach VenSAT with a draft proposal and support would then be determined.
