Super Splash 2008 is approaching fast...

All Venturers should have received an application in the post.
They are also available on the website.

Please note the date from which a late fee will be applied.
To avoid this fee make sure your applications are in the post before the 17th of November.
Also make sure that your Venturer Leader has signed your application.

Venturers are needed to represent South Australia at the Forum to be held during the national Venture in Perth.
Youdo not have to be attending the Venture to be a Forum delegate.

Facilitators are also required to help on the day of the Forum.

Entries for the SA Venturer Jelly Wrestling Competition close in ONE WEEK, on Friday, Sep 19. So now's the time to prove that you've got what it takes!

Head over to the Jelly Wrestling website and fill in the form to enter.

Don't forget everyone who wrestles gets a free drink!

The SA Venturer Jelly Wrestling Competition is nearly upon us! (It's on Fri 26th September)

And now is the time to prove you are man (or woman) enough for the challenge! Entries into the competition close on September 19 so get them in now!

How? Fill in the form at our website and hit "Throw me in the Jelly Pit!" It's as simple as that!

Don't forget that all competition wrestlers will get a free soft
drink included in their $5 entry price, plus the chance to defeat
the reigning champions to win the first place trophy!

If you hadn't heard already the forms for next years (2009) Jack Roberts Camp for Youth with Disabilities are online here on the Venturer website.

The due date for these forms is the 31st October so if you are keen on coming, download the forms and get them in ASAP (so you dont forget). Money is not needed at this stage for the camp, but the applications themselves are required.

A reminder to get forms in for the Leadership Course - due date is 1st September.
 
Yes if you live in Adelaide you make have to make extra effort to make it to the course - but last one for this year, and not likely to be another one before June next year.

Wow!

Thanks to everyone who's applied for this year's Retreat.

We have 27 Venturers attending, which is amazing (there's only 30 beds available at Douglas Scrub, so it's /almost/ a full course!)
