$5 per car is a reasonable amount. The Venturer becomes a fund-raiser.

A long enough hose (with correct fittings), sponges, chamois, carwash detergent.
Large signs on all roads near the site, such as Venturers Car Wash.

Be careful to avoid water fights.

Venturers need to know why they are there: to raise money for a trip, for example.
You may need to roster Venturers to morning and afternoon shifts.
