Enter a float in your local Christmas pageant. You will need to spend time planning the float and organising the material and equipment for it, as well as building it.

Somewhere to store equipment and build the float. Pageants are usually along a main street in your local suburb or town.

A trailer, ute or truck for the float. Materials related to the chosen theme. People to walk and/or ride.

This can be a good public relations exercise for the Unit. You need a good theme to work to which is more than just Scouting.
